David Mitchell
Actor, Writer

David MitchellDavid D. Mitchell is currently the Managing Director of Run of the Mill Theater. He is also an actor, writer, administrator who is returning to Baltimore after having the fortunate opportunity to work with both The Actors Studio and The Neighborhood Playhouse schools of acting. He received an MFA from the Actors Studio at The New School for Social Research (New York, New York).

While there he was instructed by several master teachers; Barbara Poitier, Geene Lasko, Susan Aston, Author Penn to name a few. At the Neighborhood Playhouse he played frequently with Harold G. Baldridge, Beverly Sugarman , and Lawrence Feeney. He has worked with numerous Art Education organizations (City Lights, LEAP,). He is a graduate of Morgan State University and holds a BA in Theater and presently lectures at Morgan.

He is also the Founder and Artistic Director for Project PLAY (Put Life Ahead of You) a Not-for-Profit educational theater organization that caters to under served communities in NY. Locally he's worked with Young Audiences of America and the BELL National (Building Educated Leaders for Life)
